Examination and Consultation Session

It all starts with good planning!

With the help of technology, knowledge and experience, we have the ability to diagnose any dental problem that you are concerned about or hiding. At Gikas Dental Care our priority is to obtain the information to clarify all questions about the patient's health condition. For this we use state-of-the-art equipment and software.

So we can in the moment acquire:

  • Overall Diagnosis: biological, functional and aesthetic
  • The sequence of treatments
  • The cost of each stage
  • The necessary materials

Overview

The first screening session includes a digital x-ray, digital photograph (when necessary), clinical analysis of your case and a detailed explanation of your condition. We also administer same day costs.

On the first date, most people are nervous. (highlighted in red for this)

With over 17 years of experience we help people regain their smile and understand the importance of receiving clinical, emotional and financial response.

We will respond to each concern in an ethical, responsible and intelligent way so that you get all the answers at the end of this first session.

In more complex cases, you may be referred for a dental scan (CT scan). In this case, a second session is scheduled (at no extra charge) to give you treatment plan options.

Similar cases are presented to fully understand the treatment plan to be chosen.

This initial review and consultation session usually lasts about 1 hour and concludes with a treatment plan and its cost.

The philosophy of designing the treatment as a whole is to do the most with the least number of visits.

Flow of the first examination session:

  1. Interview to understand what you want
  2. Completion of medical history
  3. Clinical control
  4. Digital X-ray control
  5. Intra-oral and extra-oral digital photos
  6. Written consents
  7. Presentation of similar incidents
  8. Discussion of the Treatment Plan and finding the best solution for the case

When possible, we present more than one option.
The sequence of treatments may be different for each patient.
